No OmniTeach is not recognised by the Welsh Government as one of the agencies on the framework list, however we recognise the importance of the new NPS framework for supply teachers. We continually ensure that we adhere to the framework by providing the following assurances:
• We pay our teachers at least M1 on the STPCD
• We do not use and have never used Swedish derogation contracts
• We adhere to the Welsh Government ethical code of practice for temporary workers
• We are a member of the REC demonstrating that we conduct ourselves ethically and adhere to best practice.
• We ensure that temporary workers will not be utilised in a role to which they have not been appointed (e.g. paying a teacher as a cover supervisor but then expecting them to teach);
• We do not charge any finders fee.
• We provide free CDP
ADDITIONAL TO THE ABOVE OMNITEACH
• Provide a pension scheme to all supply teachers.
• Provides schools the opportunity to select the best teachers to meet their needs as you know what’s required, not an agency.
• Provides supply teachers the freedom to choose where and when they want to work and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the schools they work in, ensuring continuity and consistency for school, teacher and learners.
There are no fees. OmniTeach don’t charge a registration fee or a temp to perm fee. Schools only pay on a per-job basis. We believe that money should stay within the education system and supply teachers should receive a fair wage.
